Tesla Model 3 service schedule
Published by the Serviced247 editorial teamLast reviewed 24 October 2026Reviewed when manufacturer guidance changes
The Model 3 has no scheduled engine service. Tesla publishes a small set of maintenance items, each with its own interval, and everything else is replaced on condition.
Maintenance items owners encounter
- Cabin air filter - replaced at a published interval
- Brake fluid - health check, replaced if the check requires it
- Brake calipers - clean and lubricate where winter road salt is used
- Tyres - rotate and balance regularly; replace on condition
- Air conditioning desiccant bag - at a model-specific interval
Tesla's published Model 3 maintenance page is the authoritative source and changes over time. Confirm intervals for your model year there.
Condition-based, not calendar-based
Because most Model 3 wear is condition-based, mileage and driving style matter more than the calendar. Heavy urban use wears tyres faster; light, mostly-regenerative use makes brake corrosion the thing to watch.
MOT and the Model 3
First MOT at three years from registration, then annually. Any DVSA-authorised test station can test it - the emissions section does not apply.
