Data sources & attribution
Primary source
DVSA active MOT stations dataset - Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency. Contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Coverage: England, Scotland and Wales - Northern Ireland operates a separate government-run MOT scheme and is not included.
The release we currently hold was published on 26 February 2026. GOV.UK says this list is updated around every 3 months, so stations may have opened or closed since the release date. We refresh this site whenever the DVSA publishes a new release. Being on the register means a site is authorised to carry out MOT tests; it says nothing about servicing, repairs, prices, opening hours or quality.

How we label facts
- DVSA data
- Taken directly from the DVSA active MOT stations register. Names, addresses, phone numbers, postcodes and tested vehicle classes.
- Garage-supplied
- Provided by a garage that has claimed and verified its listing. Always shown with the date it was verified.
- Serviced247 estimate
- An indicative range for Great Britain produced by our editorial team. Never a quote, never a specific garage's price.
- Editorial
- Written by our editorial team, cited to primary sources such as GOV.UK and the MOT inspection manual.
