Serviced247 publishes information people use to make decisions about vehicle safety and money. We hold our content to the standards below.

Sourcing

• Regulatory statements (MOT rules, fees, exemptions, penalties) are cited to GOV.UK, the DVSA MOT inspection manuals or legislation.
• Directory facts come from the DVSA register and are labelled as such.
• We never present an estimate, an inference or a generated statement as a verified fact.

Review

Technical and regulatory articles are checked against primary sources before publication and re-checked when the rules change, or at least once a year. Where an article has been reviewed by a qualified motor technician or MOT tester, that person is named on the page with the review date. If no individual reviewer is named, the article is the work of the Serviced247 editorial team and has not been independently reviewed - we say so rather than inventing a byline.

Published, updated and last-reviewed dates reflect real events. We do not refresh dates to look current.

Independence & commercial disclosure

Directory listings are drawn from public data and cannot be bought or removed on request. If a placement is ever paid for, it is clearly labelled "Sponsored" in the listing itself and excluded from any ranking or "nearest" ordering. Commercial relationships never influence editorial content.

What we will not do

We do not invent reviews, ratings, testimonials, awards, credentials, prices, opening hours or service offerings, and we do not publish auto-generated pages that exist only to target a keyword.
