Privacy policy

What we collect

• Quote requests: your name, email, phone number, postcode, the work you need and your vehicle registration or description.
• Registration lookups: the registration you enter is sent to the DVLA Vehicle Enquiry Service to return vehicle details. We only store it if you go on to submit a quote request.
• Technical data: standard server logs and privacy-respecting usage analytics.

Why, and who we share it with

When you submit a quote request we pass your details to the garages you selected, so they can respond. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone else for marketing.

Legal basis and retention

We process quote requests to take steps at your request before entering a contract with a garage, and rely on legitimate interests for site security and analytics. Quote requests are retained for 24 months, then deleted.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and object to processing. Email privacy@serviced247.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
