Porsche service schedule

Published by the Serviced247 editorial teamLast reviewed 24 October 2026

Intervals are set by model and model year, generally by time or mileage, whichever comes first. Brake fluid is a strictly time-based item on Porsche schedules.

Porsche service types

  • Minor service - engine oil and oil filter plus an inspection list.
  • Major service - additional filters, spark plugs where due, and a substantially longer inspection.
  • Brake fluid - a time-based change, typically every two years on Porsche schedules.
  • Taycan - no engine oil service; high-voltage system, coolant circuit, brake and cabin filter items instead.

Check the schedule for your exact model and year. Track use shortens intervals on several items.

Records and resale

Documented history has a measurable effect on Porsche values. Ask what evidence you will receive, whether the digital service record can be updated, and keep every invoice and parts list.

Items that sit outside a routine service

  • Brake fluid - a time-based change on most schedules
  • Coolant and, where fitted, gearbox or DSG oil
  • Cambelt, where the engine has one
  • Tyres, brake pads and discs - replaced on condition, not on schedule
  • Air-conditioning service and regas

Always check the schedule for your exact engine and model year. The definitive source is the handbook, the service indicator and the manufacturer's own schedule - not a generic tier name.
