Range Rover servicing

Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Velar and Evoque each have their own schedules, and servicing costs reflect the size, drivetrain and equipment level rather than a single marque-wide tier.
Air suspension, all-wheel drive and mild-hybrid or plug-in hybrid systems all add items that a generic service quote may not cover.
Range Rover service types
- Oil and filter service - the routine scheduled service.
- Full inspection service - additional filters and a longer inspection list.
- Longer-interval items - brake fluid, coolant, spark plugs, and driveline fluids on some models.
- Hybrid models - high-voltage system and battery cooling checks alongside the engine service.
Independent specialist or franchised dealer?
Both are legitimate options once the car is outside its warranty period, and many owners move to an independent specialist as the car ages. An independent that specialises in the marque will normally have the diagnostic software, the service literature and the model-specific experience that a general garage may not.
If your car is still under a manufacturer warranty or on a service plan, check the terms of that agreement before booking anywhere: the requirements around schedules, parts and record-keeping are set by the agreement, not by us.
- Ask which diagnostic equipment and software the garage uses for the marque
- Ask whether the service will be recorded in the service book or a digital service record, and what evidence you will receive
- Ask what parts and oil specification are used, and whether they meet the manufacturer specification
- Keep every invoice - documented history matters at resale
Serviced247 does not verify which garages specialise in Range Rover. We only use the word specialist where a garage claims it and we hold verified evidence of that claim.
Common Range Rover models owners ask about
Service requirements differ by engine and model year rather than by badge alone. The models below are the ones UK owners most often search about; the schedule for your specific car is the one in its handbook or service indicator.
- Evoque - the highest-volume model in the UK
- Range Rover Sport
- Velar
- Range Rover
Before you book
- Confirm which service type is actually due - not just the tier a garage offers
- Get the quote itemised, including oil specification and parts
- Agree an authorisation limit for any extra work
- Check the MOT due date and consider combining the two visits
